Seend and District Gardening Club

This thriving club always welcomes  visitors and new members - a  love of gardening  and an interest in sharing this is what brings us all together.

 

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.30 pm, from September to April, in the Irene Usher Memorial Hall, Rusty Lane, Seend.

 

Our programme for the following year is below:

 

September 9th “Wildlife in your garden” Richard Cripps

October 14th “No Dig Vegetable Growing” Charles Dowling

November 11th “Besoms and Gypsy Flowers” Carl Sadler

December 9th “Minimum Effort for Maximum Effect” Mary Payne

January 13th Quiz night/ Social Evening

February 10th “Clematis” Marcel Lloyd

March 10th “The Wonders of Westonbirt”Graham Anstey

April 14th AGM “Fuchsias” Peter Holloway.

 

We have planned two trips to visit other gardens next year:

 

In May we will go to Westonbirt to enjoy the arrival of Spring, its freshness and colour;

In June we go to Kent to stay for two nights and visit Great Dixter, Pashley Manor, Sissinghurst and Chartwell.
